Case summary
This facility was found to be out of compliance during an inspection in September of 2000. The visible emission from the dryer exceeded the opacity limits defined in their permit. The facility took the following step to reduce visible emissions: increased market for wet product, reduce dryer temperature, expansion related dryer purchase was altered to newer lower emission dryer. The State also redefined the facility's limit.
