Case summary
This case was part of a region-based initiative to reduce VOC in the Chicago severe-non attainment area. Bretford has eliminated the use of the violating coatings and will achieve further reductions by implementing the SEP described above. Bretford will have five months from the effective date of the final order, to cease using the solvent-based coatings and begin using the UV coatings in the laminate line. In addition, Bretford will have five months to begin the use of water-based adhesives in the manufacturing of pinboards/whiteboards
