Case summary

'On January 18, 2002, BP Chemicals had 22.4 pound release of acrolein. BP chemicals called the National Response Center almost 3 hours after the incident.' On October 25, 2002, Respondent provided new information which indicated that the Respondent had notified the NRC of the release at an earlier time than was recorded by the NRC. On January 7, 2003, a court order was issued granting the motion to withdraw the complaint.
