THE COMPANY HAD SIGNED A CONSENT DECREE IN 1983 WHICH REQUIRED THE COMPANY TO DISPOSE OF PCBS AND LABEL TRANS- FORMERS IN ADDITION TO PAYING A PENALTY. AN INSPECITON OF THE PLANT, WHICH IS NOW CLOSED, REVEALS THAT THE PCBS WERE STILL THERE. A COMPLAINT IS BEING PREPARED ALLEGING THAT THE COMPANY HAS HAD PCB TRANSFORMERS IN STORAGE FOR DISPOSAL FOR MORE THAN 1 YEAR AND IS IMPROPERLY STORING PCBS.
