FIFRA NOW: 9/9/2025 Power Kleen Corporation Notice of Warning for Violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Case File No. FIFRA-04-2025-3530 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulates the registration, distribution, sale, and use of pesticide products pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA or the Act), as amended, 7 U.S.C. 136 et seq. The EPA is issuing this Notice of Warning (NOW) to Power Kleen Corporation, pursuant to Section 14(a)(4) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136l(a)(4), which provides the EPA with the authority to issue a NOW. As explained below, the EPA finds that Power Kleen Corporation violated FIFRA section 12(a)(1)(A) by distributing or selling unregistered pesticides. On or around January 9, 2023, an authorized representative of the EPA conducted a producer establishment inspection at Power Kleen Corporation's facility. Based on this information, the products, Magic and Barrier, are considered pesticides as that term is defined in FIFRA Section 2(u) because they are substances or mixtures of substances intended for preventing, destroying, repelling, or mitigating pests. Pursuant to Section 3 of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136a, unless otherwise exempt, pesticides that are sold or distributed in the United States are required to be registered with the EPA. On or around August 4, 2025, the EPA conducted a review of Power Kleen Corporation's website which revealed additional products which make pesticidal claims on their labels or labeling.
