7/27/09 - NOTICE OF DETERMINATION ISSUED. FINDINGS OF FACT: MEREDITY DISCOVERED THE VIOLATIONS ON JAN 10, 2008, UPON RECEIPT OF A PEER AUDIT REPORT. ON JAN 31, 2008, MEREDITH DISCLOSED THE VIOLATIONS TO EPA. THE VIOLATIONS OCCURRED UNDER THE FOLLOWING STATUTES: EPCRA, CWA, AND RCRA. NONE OF THE VIOLATIONS DISCOVERED ARE REPEAT VIOLATIONS. ADDITIONALLY, NONE OF THE VIOLATIONS RESULTS IN SERIOUS HARM NOT DID THE PRESENT AN IMMINENT AND SUBSTANTIAL ENDANGERMENT. FINALLY, MEREDITH HAS TAKEN STEP TO PREVENT THE RECURRENCE OF THE VIOLATIONS AND HAS COOPERATED FULLY WITH EPA.
