Case summary

Tronox filed for Bankruptcy on January 12, 2009, emerging from bankruptcy on Feb 14, 2011. Nonetheless, Tronox Hamilton remains an operating facility, and will continue to be owned and operated by the reorganized Tronox at the conclusion of the bankruptcy. EPA reached settlement with Tronox and received a cash penalty of over $441,000.
