Case summary
On April 14, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticides manufactured by Swiss Biocontrol Laboratories of France and imported through the UPS Philadelphia Hub in violation of FIFRA. The pesticide was found by a U.S. Customs and Border Protections Biological Threat Operations Specialist, who contacted ECAD about the suspected violative products. The Pennsylvania Department of Agricultureas copied on the NORAs. These actions supports the Powering the Great American Comeback initiative - Pillar 1: Clean Air, Land, and Water for Every American.
