On December 30, 2025, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection recommending refusal of admission for a misbranded pesticide device imported through the Port of Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Maryland. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute misbranded pesticides and pesticide devices within the USA. The importer must either export the pesticide device out of the country or have it destroyed according to state and local regulations and provide documentation of the final action to Region 3. The Maryland Department of Agriculture was copied on the NORA. This action supports the Powering the Great American Comeback Initiative Pillar 1: Clean Air, Land, and Water for Every American.
