EPA v. ISOLITE CORPORAION (SAFETY LIGHT CORPORATION)

Case summary

On May 18, 2026, the EPA filed a CERCLA Administrative Cost Recovery Settlement (Settlement) pursuant to Section 122(h) of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. 9622(h), with Isolite Corporation, in connection with the Safety Light Superfund Site, in Bloomsburg, Columbia County, Pennsylvania (Site). Isolite Corporation allegedly arranged for the disposal of hazardous substances at the Site and was providing Site security pursuant to a 2007 Administrative Order.
