Case summary

On July 16, 2026, Region 3 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order ( CAFO ), simultaneously commencing and concluding an administrative enforcement action against Denton Scrap Metal Recycling, LLC ( Respondent ), to resolve violations of the CWA at its auto salvage yard in Denton, Maryland. To resolve these alleged violations, Respondent will pay a penalty totaling $15,200. The Consent Agreement and Final Order initiate and resolve this enforcement action.
