Case summary
On November 20, 2025, Region 3 filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement ( ESA ), simultaneously commencing and concluding an administrative enforcement action against Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. located in Wheeling, WV (the Facility ). The ESA was issued for alleged violations of RCRA Subtitle C and the authorized West Virginia Hazardous Waste Management Act ( WVHWMA ).
