Case summary
On May 8, EPA Region 3 issued a FIFRA Notice of Warning (NOW) to Advanced Chemicals Inc. of Landsdowne, PA for the sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide, a violation of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). An EPA inspection performed on February 1st, 2023, revealed that the companydistributed and sold pesticides which listed incorrect information on the product labels. FIFRA misbranding violations are exempt from EJ screen. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture was notified of this action and copied on the NOW letter.
