On September 5, 2024, the Regional Judicial Officer issued a Final Order accepting the Expedited Settlement Agreement to settle RCRA Subtitle I violation and violation of West Virginia's underground storage tank (UST) program by Woodford Development Co., LLC, as the Tank Owner of USTs at the Par Mar Store 224 facility located at 1117 Hal Greer Blvd Huntington, WV 25701. Region 3's enforcement team, in coordination with WVDEP, was able to resolve the UST violation of failing to use an overfill prevention system on Tank #3 from at least September 20, 2022 until May 3, 2023. The violation was discovered through an UST Compliance Inspection conducted on May 16, 2023. The respondent has agreed to pay a $1,222 penalty and has returned to compliance with the violation.
