On November 14, Region 3 issued two Notices of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered and misbranded pesticide by KG Logistics, LLC through the port of Norfolk-Newport News, VA. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute unregistered or misbranded pesticides. The importer has stated they will export the product, and must provide to EPA documentation of the action. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services was copied on the NORA and FIFRA registration and misbranding violations are exempt from EJ screen.
