On February 8, 2023, the Region 3 Deputy Regional Administrator signed a Remedial Design/Remedial Action Consent Decree in connection with the Hanlin-Allied-Olin Superfund Site in Moundsville, WV. Pursuant to the Consent Decree, Settling Defendants will perform all work pursuant to the Operable Unit 1 (OU-1) Record of Decision and will pay all of EPA past and future response costs incurred by EPA in connection with OU-1 at the Site. The Consent Decree has been transmitted to the Department of Justice for signature and lodging with the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.
