Case summary
On May 19, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (US CBP) to refuse admission of a misbranded pesticide device imported by JAH Products, LLC through the US CBP Port of Washington-Dulles (#5401). The pesticide device, UVC LED Toothbrush Sterilization Box , was misbranded in that it made claims that are considered to be false and misleading. Sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide device is a violation of FIFRA. The importer stated they wish to export the products back to the country of origin.
