On April 18, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide, Aquablue Solution, imported by IBA Dosimetry America, Inc. of Herdon, VA through the UPS Philadelphia Hub in PA. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute an unregistered pesticide. The importer has stated they will destroy the products and they will be required to provide documentation to EPA. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services was copied on the NORA, and FIFRA misbranding violations are exempt from EJ screen.
