Case summary
On October 25, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (US CBP) to refuse admission of several misbranded pesticides imported by FMC Corporation through the US CBP Port of Philadelphia, PA (#1108). The pesticides Indoxacarb 3RB and Indoxacarb 50 MUC were misbranded in that the storage and container disposal section were missing required language. Sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide is a violation of FIFRA. The importer stated they wish to export the products back to the country of origin.
