Case summary
On January 18, Region 3 issued a FIFRA Notice of Warning (NOW) to Field Controls, LLC of Kinston, NC for sale and distribution (import) of nine shipments of a misbranded pesticide device imported through the Port of Norfolk-Newport News, VA. The nine shipments contained TRIO Plus Air Purifier which had a false and misleading claim on the label and was determined to be misbranded. The misbranded pesticide device was brough to the company's Kinston, NC facility for relabeling. FIFRA violations are exempt from EJ screen. EPA Region 4 and VDACS was alerted of the NOW.
