Case summary

On March 30, 2022, Region III issued an Administrative Order ( UAO ) to the Glen Rogers Public Service District in Glen Fork, Wyoming County, WV, which requires the District to correct violations of Lead and Copper Rule requirements promulgated under the Safe Drinking Water Act. The cited violations included: failure to conduct lead and copper monitoring; failure to report results to the State; failure to provide notice of lead and copper monitoring results to individuals whose taps were sampled; failure to consult with the state regarding the violations; and failure to develop and implement a corrective action plan. These violations occurred during various periods within the timeframe 2013 through 2021. EPA has consulted with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources ( WVDHHR ) during the development of this action. The Glen Rogers Public Service District is not located within an EJ area.
