Case summary
On February 18, Region 3 issued two Notices of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (US CBP) to refuse admission of misbranded pesticides imported by Janssen Pharmaceutical through the US CBP Port of Philadelphia, PA (#1108). The pesticides Zinc Pyrion 48% MPF were misbranded in that the container disposal statements were missing required language. Sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide is a violation of FIFRA. The importer has stated they wish to export the products back to the country of origin.
