On February 11, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered Lysol Disinfecting Wipes through the port of Richmond-Petersburg, VA. The product in the shipment did not have an EPA-registration number on the product, and was labelled for the Canadian market. Sale and distribution of an unregistered pesticide is a violation of FIFRA. The importer has stated they wish to export the product back to the country of origin.
