On November 24, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admissions (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide imported by Fairfax Clean Tech through the CBP?s port Port of Baltimore, MD. The shipment contained TiSinBo Bacteriostatic Purification Catalyst which made claims to kill viruses, germs and bacteria. Sale and distribution of an unregistered pesticide is a violation of FIFRA. The importer has the option to export the product or destroy it.
