Case summary
On August 12, Region 3 issued a FIFRA Notice of Warning (NOW) to Reckitt Benckiser, LLC of Parsippany, NJ for sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide imported through the Port of Washington DC-Dulles. The shipment contained Lysol Disinfectant Spray which was improperly labelled and determined to be misbranded. The misbranded pesticide was imported to the company?s Hillsborough, NJ facility to relabel the product. FIFRA violations are exempt from EJ screen. EPA Region 2 was alerted of the NOW.
