Case summary
On August 12, Region 3 issued a FIFRA Notice of Warning (NOW) to Lidl US Trading, LLC of Arlington, VA for sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide device imported through the Port of Richmond-Petersburg, VA. The shipment contained the pesticide device UV Bug Zapper which was improperly labelled and determined to be misbranded. The misbranded device was imported to an EPA-registered establishment in Chester, VA to relabel the product. FIFRA violations are exempt from EJ screen. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services was alerted of the NOW.
