On August 12, Region 3 issued a FIFRA Notice of Warning (NOW) to Crawl Space Door Systems, Inc. of Virginia Beach, VA for sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide device imported through the Port of Norfolk-Newport News, VA. The shipment contained the pesticide device Germ+ Mold Buster UVC Germicidal Disinfectant Light which was improperly labelled and determined to be misbranded. The misbranded device was imported to the an EPA-registered establishment in Virginia Beach, VA to relabel the product. FIFRA violations are exempt from EJ screen. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services was alerted of the NOW.
