Case summary
On July 14, Region 3 issued a FIFRA Notice of Warning to De Nora Water Technologies of Chalfont, PA for suspected sale and distribution of a misbranded UV replacement lights for water disinfection units, as the product labels were missing the EPA Establishment Number of the last place of production as required by FIFRA. This was discovered during a March 2020 producer establishment inspection, which was conducted by Region 3 with Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) and EPA Region 2 trainee inspectors in attendance. The PDA was alerted in advance of this letter and copied on the final signed letter. FIFRA misbranding violations are not subject to an EJ screen.
