Case summary
On May 10, 2021, following a thirty-day public comment period during which EPA received no comments from the public, the Agency provided written notice to Respondent, Consolidated Lands, LLC (?CL?), that an administrative cost-recovery settlement between EPA and CL has become effective. In accordance with the terms of the settlement, CL is now required to pay the Agency $250,000 by Wednesday, June 9, 2021, for past responses costs incurred by EPA at the Transportation Drive PCB Superfund Site in Hazelton, Pennsylvania ( Site ). This settlement completes EPA's cost recovery at the Site.
