On July 14, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admissions (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide imported by UPS Customs Brokerage through the UPS Philadelphia Airport Hub. The disinfectant called ?Salopur Med? had a German-language only label and the product website stated in German that it could be used to disinfect against the novel coronavirus. A pesticide is any substance intended for preventing, destroying, repelling, or mitigating any pest, including bacteria, and all pesticides must be registered with the EPA. Sale and distribution of an unregistered pesticide is a violation of FIFRA
