On March 19, 2020, EPA Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Protection to refuse admission of a misbranded pesticide device. The shipment contained germicidal UV light bulbs that were not made in an EPA Registered Establishment and did not have all of the required label language. Thus, the product was considered MISBRANDED. Sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide device is a violation under FIFRA.
