Case summary

On March 2, 2020, EPA Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide. The shipment contained a ?Novel Veterinary Compound? that was intended for research and development. However the product was not properly labelled to include a complete list of the ingredients. Thus, the product was considered MISBRANDED. Sale and distribution of a misbranded pesticide device is a violation under FIFRA. On March 17, the company confirmed that they disposed of the product. Subsequent imports on 3/30 and 4/24 have shown label changes to bring their product into compliance with FIFRA.
