On October 15, Region 3 issued a NORA to Thermo Fisher Scientific, LLC. through the Port of Baltimore for importing five water purifying devices that claimed to kill bacteria with UV light. These pesticide devices were not produced in an EPA-registered establishment and did not meet FIFRA labeling requirements. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute misbranded pesticides.
