EPA v. AG LAND CROP PRODUCTION

Case summary

On December 31, 2019, ECAD staff issued 7 Notices of Warning (NOW) for Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) violations at EPA-Registered Pesticide Producer Establishments throughout our Region. All nine establishments were cited for failure to submit their 2018 annual pesticide production report on or before the March 1, 2019 deadline, as required. Every year these establishments are required to submit their production reports to EPA, listing the names and types of pesticides they produce, the amounts produced and distributed in the previous year, and the amount they expect to produce in the coming year. All facilities, of which 8 are located in Pennsylvania and one in Kentucky, are required to submit their reports to come into compliance.
