( Versum ), of 357 Marian Ave, Tamaqua, PA 18252, for alleged violations of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act ( RCRA ) via the Federally authorized Pennsylvania Hazardous Waste Management Regulations. Versum operates a facility that manufactures various fluorine-based chemical products in the gaseous phase for use in the manufacturing of electronic devices for the semiconductor industry. The alleged violations were identified during a July 26-27, 2018 inspection and included the following violations: (1) failure to conduct daily tank inspections; and (2) operating without a permit or interim status. Per the terms of the Consent Agreement, Respondent will pay a civil penalty in the amount of $17,600.00.
