( Respondent ) to address violations of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Discharge Permit for Animal Feeding Operations, NPDES Permit No. MDG01. Respondent owns and operates five (5) Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations ( CAFOs ) in the State of Maryland. The Maryland Department of Agriculture and the Maryland Department of the Environment were notified about this action. The Respondent will pay a civil penalty in the amount of $137,000 under the Consent Agreement and Final Order. This Consent Agreement and Final Order initiates and concludes this penalty action.
