On December 30, 2019, EPA filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) with W.S. Peeney Inc and Pocono Gas Station Inc. based in Stroudsburg to settle violations of the Pennsylvania Underground Storage Tank regulations at the Pocono Gas Station located in Stroudsburg, PA. As a result of this case, Region 3's enforcement team, in coordination with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, was able to resolve an UST violation for tank release detection requirements.
