Case summary

On September 12th, EPA filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) with Bargain Bill's Marketplace LLC and Bargain Bill's Land Holdings LLC based in Laurel, DE to settle violations of the Delaware Regulations Governing Underground Storage Tanks at the Bargain Bill's Marketplace, located in Laurel, DE. As a result of this case, Region 3's enforcement team, in coordination with Delaware Department of Natural Resources, was able to resolve UST violations which included line tightness and line leak detector testing. Bargain Bill's Marketplace LLC and Bargain Bill's Land Holdings LLC were responsible for a $5,640 penalty as well as compliance with all UST requirements.
