Case summary
In violation of RLBPHRA and Disclosure Rule requirements, Respondent offered target housing properties for lease without ensuring that required lead-based paint disclosure information was provided to the respective lessees prior to completing the lease transactions. In two (2) target housing properties for which the Respondent was a leasing agent, the Region identified eleven (11) residential dwelling units, and as many corresponding lease transactions, in which Disclosure Rule requirements were not met. The consent Agreement alleges that Respondent failed to comply with 40 C.F.R. subsection 745.115(a)(2) Disclosure Rule Agent responsibilities with respect to such lease transactions and will settle and resolve the 67 disclosure Rule violations identified therein.
