Case summary
On December 15, 2006, EPA Region III issued an Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent ( AOC ) with BAE Systems Information and electronic Stystems Integration, Inc. ( BAE )< which requires BAE to perform pre-design investigation at Operable Unit ! ( OU1 ) of the North Penn Area 5 Superfund Site ( Site ). BAE's facility at the Site is located at 305 Richardson Road, in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. The pre-design investigation called for in the AOC is necessary to assure effective and efficient implementation of the remedy selected in a Record of Decision dated June 25, 2004, to address trichloroethene and other volatile organic contamination at OU1 of the Site. The work estimated to cost $300,000.00.
