Case summary
On June 28, 2010, the Consent Decree was entered by the Federal Court (E.D. Pa.). The Consent Decree provides for a payment to the Superfund from the Judgment Fund on behalf of the Department of Interior and a payment to the Superfund from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in resolution of the liability to EPA for past costs at the site. The payments were received by EPA within 30 days of entry of the Consent Decree.
