Case summary
EPA and Respondent entered into an Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent for the Preliminary Design Investigation portion of the Remedial Design for Operable Unit 2 of the Quanta (Edgewater) Site, for the remedy selected in the ROD issued on September 24,2024. Operable Unit 2 will address contaminated sediment in the Hudson River adjacent to the land portion of the Site. The work to be performed under this settlement is estimated to cost $2,500,000. Respondent will also reimburse EPA for its future costs of overseeing performance of this work at the Site.
