Case summary
The Settlement Agreement resolves the potential liability of three Settling Parties for $714,584.02 in past response costs paid in connection with EPA?s oversight of the Settling Parties? performance of the first operable unit remedial design and remedial action for the Site, during the period of October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2021. On November 23, 2022, EPA issued a demand for past response costs. Under the Settlement Agreement, the Settling Parties shall pay $714,584.02, which is the full amount of the demand. EPA is, therefore, collecting 100% of its demand and EPA is not compromising any costs pursuant to this settlement.
