Based on an EPA August 20, 2019 worksite inspection and two responses to Information Request Letters, EPA has determined that the company violated the RRP Rule at a pre-1978 residential property in Garwood, NJ, by: failing to post warning signs, failure to distribute the Renovate Right pamphlet to occupants, failure to cover the ground with plastic sheeting, use of a prohibited practice, failure to establish or maintain required records; failure to ensure all workers are certified renovators or have been trained by a certified renovator; and failure to ensure that a certified renovator is assigned to each renovation performed by the firm and discharges all of the certified renovator responsibilities.
