Case summary
On December 5, 2019 and December 6, 2019, EPA conducted an Audit of the Respondent's MS4. This information request and administrative compliance order is being issued to address violations of the NJDEP NJPDES Tier A Municipal Stormwater General Permit including: failure to develop and implement a Municipal Stormwater Management Plan and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, failure to inventory and maintain stormwater facilities, failure to implement and document community-wide pollution prevention measures, failure to implement Best Management Practices at municipal facilities, failure to implement an employee training program and failure to map and inspect MS4 outfalls, as required by the Permit. The Order requires the City to comply with the terms and conditions of the MS4 General Permit. The NJDEP accompanied EPA on the Audit and are supportive of this action.
