Case summary

Due to passage of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, and the unprecedented damage and impairments to infrastructure, telecommunications (i.e. internet access), electrical power services, potable water distribution, and reduction in labor force, EPA and the Respondent executed an Administrative Order on Consent, which addresses emergency-related construction projects in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. This Order on Consent was executed to provide relief to the Respondent and the initiation of an emergency-related construction project, while gathering information and implementing erosion and sediment controls.
