Case summary
This Information Request and Administrative Compliance Order is being issued to the Town to address remaining violations of the NYSDEC's MS4 General Permit identified during an EPA MS4 audit conducted July 26-28, 2016. Violations include but are not limited to: failure to update and fully implement the Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) Plan; failure conduct a complete outfall reconnaissance inventory (ORI) during dry weather at all outfalls once every five (5) years; failure to maintain an inventory of post-construction stormwater management practices and ensure long-term operation and maintenance of those practices; failure to perform self-assessments of all municipal operations and facilities; and failure to conduct employee training. The Information Request and Administrative Compliance Order requires the Town to comply with the terms and conditions of the NYSDEC's SPDES MS4 General Permit.
