Case summary
The Respondent operates a dry dock facility located at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York. EPA previously issued two Administrative Compliance Orders (CWA-02-2014-3050 and CWA-02-2016-3036) and an Administrative Penalty Order (CWA-02-2016-3402) to the Respondent for MSGP violations, including failure to remove waste grit from the dry dock prior to flooding, and for unpermitted non-stormwater discharges.
