Respondent is a permitted Phase II MS4 in New Jersey. An MS4 Audit was conducted on November 2-4, 2016 and determined that the Respondent was not complying with the NJDEP Tier A Municipal General Stormwater Permit. Violations include, but are not limited to: failure to update the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, failure to ensure adequate long-term operation and maintenance for municipal and privately owned best management practices, failure to fully develop the illicit connection elimination program, failure to fully implement the solids and floatable controls requirements, and failure to fully implement the maintenance yard operations requirements. An Information Request and Administrative Compliance Order is being issued to order Respondent to comply with the Tier A Municipal General Permit conditions.
