The Settlement Agreement provides for the Respondent's performance of a remedial design and remedial action for the soil portion of the remedy selected for the White Swan Cleaners/Sun Cleaners Area Ground Water Contamination Superfund Site, Wall Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey. A Record of Decision was issued on September 30, 2013. The ROD selects a comprehensive remedy to address all soil source areas and groundwater for the Site. The ROD remedy includes, among other actions, excavation and off-Site disposal of contaminated soil at the White Swan Cleaners. This Order only addresses the White Swan Property Source Area, an area of unsaturated and saturated soils to be remediated on and adjacent to the White Swan Property as specified in the ROD.
